Terms of service
Lunanite is a handcrafted jewellery studio working primarily with solid metals. Each piece is made with care, intention, and respect for material. By placing an order with Lunanite, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Orders
1.1 Purchase of Products
When you place an order through the Lunanite website, you are making an offer to purchase the item at the stated price, subject to these terms. Every effort is made to ensure that product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate at the time of listing. As each piece is handcrafted, slight variations in texture, finish, and form may occur and are considered part of the character of the work. Lunanite reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order for reasons including product unavailability, payment authorisation failure, errors in pricing or product information, or incorrect details supplied by the customer.
1.2 Prices
All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Prices may change without prior notice. Delivery costs are charged separately. For high-value or one-of-a-kind pieces, additional secure shipping fees may apply.
1.3 Delivery Address
Please ensure that your delivery address is accurate at checkout. Lunanite cannot be held responsible for parcels sent to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If you notice an error after placing your order, contact us immediately at hello@lunanitejewellery.co.za.
1.4 Order Acceptance & Cancellation
Order confirmation does not signify acceptance. Lunanite reserves the right to accept, decline, or limit any order. If payment has been processed and an order is cancelled, a full refund will be issued. Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun, unless delays occur beyond reasonable control.
2. Payment
2.1 Payment Options
Lunanite accepts payment via EFT and selected secure online payment gateways. Orders will only be processed once payment has been successfully received and authorised.
3. Product Availability & Pricing Changes
As a small studio practice, product availability may change without notice. Pricing may be adjusted due to material costs, currency fluctuations, or production changes.
4. Manufacturing & Shipping
Orders are processed within approximately 72 hours. Please allow up to 10 working days for production, unless otherwise stated. Shipping takes place Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Once dispatched, Lunanite is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by courier or postal services.
5. Advertising Disclaimer
While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, product images and descriptions are provided as a guide. Errors may occur, and Lunanite reserves the right to cancel orders affected by such errors with a full refund.
6. Returns & Exchanges
6.1 Returns
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact Lunanite within 14 days of receipt. Eligible returns will be issued as store credit only. Delivery costs are non-refundable. The following items are not eligible for return: custom or made-to-order pieces, earrings (for hygiene reasons), sale items, and special commissions. Returned items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition.
6.2 Exchanges
Approved returns are issued as store credit to be used on future purchases. All exchange orders are treated as new orders and are subject to standard production timelines and shipping costs. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and are encouraged to use a tracked service.
